About herself, Kim writes:
"As a wife, mother of 4, therapist, and doula, I'm extremely ​passionate about supporting parents through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. While each journey is different, everyone can benefit from knowledge, encouragement, and continuous support to navigate it with confidence. I absolutely love what I do, and believe every birth story matters.

I'm a certified birth doula through DONA International, with experience supporting many types of births both in hospitals and at home. I'm also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with almost two decades of experience. I have specialized training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I'm incredibly thankful to now have more knowledge and understanding to better support VBAC parents!

These two birth stories were different in many ways, but both included a big element of surprise- and lots of love and strength! 🙌

Baby boy was on his own timeline- coming in “early” and FAST! 💨💫😳🤗

Baby girl called the shots and got things going just hours before her scheduled induction time! ⏰👏😅🥰

Still awaiting one who has apparently decided he’d rather be a February babe! 💙🥰💙

So grateful to work with these amazing moms, dads, and families! 🙌🫶

There’s something about the birth of your second child. You come into it with a little more knowing, more experience- yet you’re still asked to dig deeper and surrender to the mystery of how it will unfold, how it will transform you.

This is me with my second born, Owen. He’s 13 now, and I just don’t understand how time has flown by so quickly. 🥹

And sometimes, though not always- those second births go quicker than you could ever imagine too. I’ve had a few pan out that way as a doula (you moms know who you are), but my client last week definitely set the record! Multiple records 🤯😂 I’m still in awe and amazed 🥰❤️

Staying grounded in the present moment is so powerful- not looking back or jumping forward- but staying here, now, right with your baby 💖
The birth of this precious little brother was a beautiful one! 🥰 And I say it over and over again, but I’m awe at how I get to support the most amazing couples! 🥹 Currently booking complimentary consults for the following due dates: March, April, June, July. Last Monday was a good day. 💙🩷 Baby boy arrived just after midnight and baby girl mid afternoon!

Happy Birthday to these precious babies, and congratulations to their amazing parents 🥰

November 3rd is definitely a day I’ll always remember. ☺️
