We have so many stories, shared interests, spent so many nights up late editing photos at shows we have photographed together, an amazing Father ! I couldn’t ask for a better friend.

21 years ago my guitar hero was taken from the world. I had only seen Dimebag perform for the first time 5 months before hand at 2004. That performance has always been etched in my mind and can still hear it today when I think back. The sound of that day is what inspired me to get into finding out what equipment he used to achieve such a tone, so within a matter of weeks, I was logging in daily into the forum, learning about PQ4’s and MxR 6band eqs … then wi in a few months he was gone !
Today we celebrate Dime’s music, the legacy he left behind but we also need to remember the heartbreak left in the wake of the evening of 8th Dec 2004. Let’s not forget Jeff “Mayhem” Thompson, Erin Halk and Nathan Bray who all helped try to save Dime but were also taken in the events. Thoughts are with all Dime’s, Jeff’s, Erin’s and Nathan’s families.
We love you and miss you Darrell. If it wasn’t to my dedication to finding your tone, and teaching people what everything does and sharing it here - I wouldn’t have the friends I do now .. so thank you. Rest in power 🥃🦷

The only thing I want to say today is that Vinnie, you are dearly missed, your legacy has inspired a new generation and you are honoured with the upmost respect every time play a show !
So today, everyone, raise a glass and toast Big Vin and take a moment to remember times you had with him or that you were fortunate to have seen him live ! Rest well Riggs 🥁
