It's good to see pharmacy staff in Rhode Island speaking up. This issue is so much deeper than just CVS. It includes all chain pharmacies. Having seen the progression for many years from different angles, the recent change in landscape is very concerning. At Inman Pharmacy, our focus is on patient care, not corporate profits. Did you know it takes about two weeks for the flu shot to become effective? Thats why the CDC came up with the slogan “Flu Before Boo” to encourage everyone to get their flu shot by Halloween, this gives plenty of time for it to be effective for the holiday season. Inman Pharmacy is happy to be partnering with the Pittsylvania County Sheriffs Office in participating in the DEA Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 25, from 10am to 1:30pm, onsite at the pharmacy.

Collection sites will not accept syringes, sharps, or illicit drugs. Liquid products, such as cough syrup, should remain sealed in their original container.

The event gives people the opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted/expired prescriptions.
