It’s Auction Friday!

All month long our residents collect Seagrass Bucks by participating in activities, and today is the Super Bowl of the month… AUCTION DAY! 🏆

Join us today at 2 PM in the Theater for the excitement as residents bid on fun prizes using the bucks they’ve earned. It’s always one of the most anticipated and fun events of the month!

She leads with kindness, works tirelessly to ensure our residents feel cared for and valued, and constantly goes above and beyond to support every department.

Staying active is a big part of life here at Seagrass Village of Daphne! 💪🌿

Our residents enjoy a variety of fitness programs throughout the week designed to keep bodies moving, improve balance, and support overall wellness. We offer S3 Balance classes three times a week, Morning Workouts with Select Rehabilitation Monday–Friday at 10 AM, and SilverSneakers classes on Tuesday at 9:30 AM, Wednesday at 2:30 PM, and Thursday at 4 PM.

These programs help build strength, confidence, and community. Be sure to watch the video until the end where our very own Mrs. Virginia shares a quick testimony about how attending these classes has made a positive difference in her life. ❤️

🌿 Welcome to Seagrass Village of Daphne, Patty Owens! 🌿

We are so excited to welcome Patty Owens to our Seagrass Village family! 💚

Originally from Johnston City, Illinois, Patty brings with her a heart full of faith, family, and service. She worked in pharmacy and also served as a Director of Volunteers, dedicating much of her life to helping others.

Patty was married to her beloved husband, Max Owens, a proud veteran who received an honorable discharge after serving in three branches of the military. 🇺🇸 Their special song, “You Needed Me,” holds cherished memories of their life together. ❤️

Her Protestant faith is very important to her; she reads her Bible daily and enjoys attending services both within the community and locally. ✝️

Patty’s days are filled with simple joys, good meals, meaningful conversations, and time spent with friends. She prefers a casual style by day and cozy pajamas at night, keeping life comfortable and easy.

Please join us in giving Patty a warm and heartfelt Seagrass Village welcome. We are so glad she’s here! 🌸

Today we had the joy of celebrating Irma, our wonderful in-house Hair Stylist, as she celebrated a milestone birthday surrounded by the residents she cares for so much! ✨

We gathered together, shared plenty of laughs, and enjoyed the most delicious tres leches cake from Peque’s Cake Artisan Pastry—and let’s just say… not a single slice was left behind! 🍰 Every bite was savored, but not nearly as much as our residents savor the care, confidence, and joy Irma brings to Seagrass Village each and every day.

Irma is the owner of La Fe Hair Salon, located right here in our community. She provides hair services for both men and women and welcomes residents as well as guests from the surrounding community into her salon.

Each class gets bigger and stronger, and we couldn’t be more proud of our residents for showing up, putting in the work, and committing to their health. Mobility equals independence and they are proving that every single week!
