🇺🇸Today and every day, The Shoulder stands beside our Veterans. 🇺🇸

This Veterans Day, The Shoulder is honoring those who have served by highlighting Operation VETS (Veterans Engaged in Treatment Services) our newest way of serving those impacted by addiction.

Through our ongoing partnership with the Alabama Department of Mental Health, we’re now able to offer both residential and Level 1 outpatient treatment at no cost to Veterans.

Operation VETS provides veteran-specific programming led by veteran counselors and support staff; ensuring those who served our nation receive care and community from those who understand their journey.

This initiative reflects our vision: to facilitate positive change in the lives of those we treat and the communities we serve.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 💗
At The Shoulder, we believe in healing, hope, and standing together - both in recovery and in the fight against cancer. We honor the fighters, celebrate the survivors, and remember those we’ve lost.

This month, our team at The Shoulder traded in the office for some fun at Surge Entertainment in Mobile! 🎉

Our staff development outing gave us the chance to celebrate the many successes of the past fiscal year, enjoy some well-earned team building, and cheer on our Employee of the Month, Monty Glass. 👏

We’re grateful for such a dedicated group who pour their hearts into supporting our mission every day and who also know how to have a little fun together! 💛
