Self care is a form of love! 💆‍♀️ Schedule some me time for yourself. 💖
I still have some days with openings in February. Don't forget, when you book a facial in February you get a complimentary facial add on!
If a day you were hoping for isn't available, send me a message and I'll put you on the cancelation list.

Which treatment is your favorite?

I always appreciate honest and direct feedback - even when it's not fun to hear. Some of these comments were sent in messages or mentioned privately in person, so you may not see them in the comments.

Ultimately, I never meant to come across in a way that was arrogant, but I wanted people to be informed that this is something I've not only seen happening, but heard complaints about from clients and providers alike.

It was also mentioned that I shouldn't be calling people out. I purposely didn't mention anyone by name for this reason. If you're a provider who has mislabeled yourself and didn't realize that it was a violation of your license, you can always make those changes. I didn't say these things to single anyone out, but to help bring awareness and ultimately safety to clients.

I apologize if I came across in a way that was upsetting to some, I was speaking out of frustration.

If you know me, you'll know that I put a high emphasis on integrity and am proud to work somewhere that prioritizes safety and compliance.

To my clients, I hope you'll continue coming to see me and working with me.

To everyone else, I hope you give me a chance.

Training and credentials mean something and matter.
It truly bothers me when I see people using certification titles they haven't actually earned or using titles that don't exist (and are prohibited by the licensing board) as a way to try to seem more credentialed and experienced to clients. It's not good marketing, it's lying.

I've seen people call themselves Master and Medical Aestheticians in my state where it's against board regulations and in violation of the license.

I've seen nurses who didn't take, much less pass, the CANS exam say they are a certified aesthetic nurse specialist. (And yes, they told on themselves proudly 😳)

I've seen people offer services that require additional training and certification that they will admit they never took.

This is deceptive and hurts other providers, confuses clients, and can be potentially harmful.

I'm glad I work for a practice that takes these things seriously.

It's that time of year where we're all making our resolutions, so here are some of mine. I'm focusing on small achievable tweaks to improve my life and well-being instead of huge, unsustainable, dramatic changes.

Becoming a mom has been one of the most amazing experiences, but it's also been difficult - particularly when it comes to taking care of myself. I've gotten away from my own self care and investing time into my passions as I've prioritized my son. As he grows, I'm trying to find a better balance. Showing up for myself means not only showing up more for him, but teaching him to take care of himself too.

So in 2026 I'll be diving into reading more again, cooking and baking more things that I love, getting back on the ice (albeit gradually), doing nail art, getting back on a fuller skincare routine and start getting more treatments again. I'm going to work towards a better sleep routine and get back to hydrating the way I was.

Today is so I figured I'd share a little bit about me and why I chose this career.

I was introduced to medical aesthetics in my teens, starting professional treatments for acne at 13. I then learned more about the provider side of aesthetics at 15 as my family pursued a business in the industry. At 21, I began my career at Avalon Medical Spa and that's where you'll still find me today!

I've always had a passion for science and had a pre-med focus while obtaining my Bachelor's of Science in Biology. Fun fact, I originally planned on becoming a dermatologist, but decided that by being an aesthetician I would get more hands-on time and connection with my clients.

I love being able to help people achieve their goals and feel confident in themselves, something I've personally struggled with before. This experience helps me empathize with how much your skin can affect you and drives me deeply to help others.

I have such a vast range of clients and I love hearing their stories and learning about them. That deep personal connection is one of my favorite parts of the job.

If you haven't booked with me before, I'd love to get to know you and work with your skin. I always offer free consultations, so I hope to see you in soon!
