What are your limiting beliefs about your body or about your eating plan? Do you compare yourself to others, thinking that you have terrible DNA and no chance to have a lean body? Are you perfectionist and think that you have to follow a rigid plan 24/7 and if you have a donut before lunch that you have ruined the day so might as well eat whatever and start over tomorrow? Do you start extreme workouts, only to be overwhelmed and extremely sore, leading you to quit?
All of these examples are considered distortions. These distortions or thinking errors are sabotaging and get Iin the way way of progress. If you do All or Nothing thinking and/or Perfectionism in your dieting, it is likely you do that in other areas of your life too. Addressing distortions is an important step toward a healthy mentality about your body, weight loss and nutrition.
