Jennifer’s Journey With Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension Help with awareness

02/02/2020

So, I am about to snitch on myself which is totally fine because I don’t lie nor have anything to hide. Since my brain surgery on May 1st that I absolutely forget I have a shunt placed in my brain. So, about a week ago my dumb self used a freaking headband (a tight one at that). I fell asleep with it on my head that night. I think I messed with my valve for my skin on it is tight as hell. My eyes are blurry for a few days now and today my right ear where the shunt is feels clogged. I am super drowsy and feel like crap. Oh, yeah where my shunt is it also hurts. Welcome to the life with someone with Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension.
