Holding steady at 210 lbs since broke my fast last Sunday, means lost and kept off 8 pounds of fat since all my fluids are back in by now. Biggest reason for the dry fast every 9 weeks is to convert fat into water, which our bodies do to survive extreme dehydration like camels do in the desert (1 liter a day roughly) and also tighten up my loose skin from that initial 150 lbs lost 2014-2016 from my weight loss surgery that took me down to 250 lbs. But I have been struggling all these years to lose the final 90 lbs to reach my goal weight of 160 lbs, but carnivore helped me drop 40 lbs this past year and now adding dry fasting every 9th week and doing intermittent fasting now 7 days a week as of Monday is going finally get me there in 2026 by the end of the year is my hope.

Last night ordered a 3.2 pound heavy jump rope for $25, this will be interesting because I haven’t used a jump rope in over 40 years 😊.

Now I remember from years ago why always hated leg day 😊. Still working on getting to 90 degrees on those old legs, but it’s only been 2 months so know got long ways to go.

This is what 178g of protein looks like. 10 eggs, 1 lb grass fed hamburger, 1 can of sardines and stick of butter 🧈 for extra fat. Gotta eat all this by 2pm and the 20/4 intermittent fasting starts.

Checked my weight this morning, 209.9 after drinking bunch water and 16 oz of homemade bone broth so should now hold steady here going forward. Lost 15 lbs last week on my fast and looks like only gained 7 back which is almost half in water, so definitely lost 8 lbs of fat. I’ll take that! Today keep it going strict carnivore and now the 20/4 begins 7 days a week, water fasting 20 hours and eating 178g of protein in that window. Can’t ever do OMAD (only one meal a day) because had weight loss surgery in 2014 when I was 400 lbs, so physically can’t eat enough in one meal and have break it up into 3 smaller meals. Within 10 lbs of that first 200 lb goal and I’m excited. Taken me 10 years lose this last 50 lbs but fasting and carnivore past year is going finally get me across the finish line. Then after that another 40 lbs to 160 lb is my ultimate goal and then any weight I gain will be only muscle weight. Still long way to go.

My first meal since last Monday evening, been drinking liquids since 6:50am. Going lite with a ground chicken patty that I added soft goat cheese, white pepper (low Oxalates, nu salt for potassium, and garlic powder also low Oxalates), plus one over easy soft egg all cooked in organic coconut oil (only oil I use for frying) with fresh sliced roasted garlic and some real unsalted butter. It was delicious! First time having goat cheese.

For drinks had lemon water with about 1/4 cup organic coconut water added.

Smoothie made with Kiefer (1 cup), 1 1/2 tbl allulose, 1 tsp beet powder, 1/2 cup watermelon, 1/2 cup of blackberries. Fantastic!

Kept my carbs under 30g for entire day and now back to full carnivore.

Tomorrow start my 20/4 eating schedule 7 days a week with 1 lb ground beef, 10 pasture raised eggs, 1 stick of butter, 1 can sardines in 4 hour eating window for 178g protein.

Back to heavy lifting for next 8 weeks and do this fast again 9th week is my plan to 160 lbs. End weight was 203.4 from 218, see how much weigh on Tuesday morning, guess is around 210 lbs.

Chicken feet bone broth came out quite good. Got 5 large mason jars full. Tastes like chicken broth and the chicken feet are rubbery and definitely can eat whole thing bones and all later. First hour medium-high and then lowest setting on stove for 14 more hours. Need get crock pot someday, but this was good experiment. My asian wife will fry most of it up for adobo for her and the daughter later. I’ll save some plain for myself to eat whole later for the collegian. Adding whole garlic and real salt helped with flavor and tablespoon of vinegar helped soften the bones. Definitely do this again. You can do this also with any bones like beef bones. Try beef bones next time. Been wanting make my own bone broth for while now, this was cheap way for first time.

Finished it. Couldn’t sleep last night too wound up. 2:30am until 6:50am so ended it it little early little shy of my 132 hour goal, but over 130 hours so still proud of my accomplishment. Know my wife will be happy when she wakes up think driving her a little crazy last night 😊.

My wife is Filipino so she suggested chicken feet to make bone broth. Added 6 garlic cloves, salt, and vinegar. Vinegar will soften the bones up to eat whole little trick I learned for any bones, high collegian. Cook it for 15 hours on low heat. Tomorrow when break my fast I’ll have fresh bone broth 😊.

After not going to gym all week, I went today after 113 hours of fasting and since I’m breaking my fast tomorrow morning, didn’t hardly notice any strength loss. 50 lb dumbbells on flat bench easily got 10 reps where before could do 12. Pretty happy went light all way around. Be ready Monday go harder than ever for next 8 weeks before my next fast on 9th week. Beast mode activated!
