Let’s talk about flexibility for a min ... I call myself the anti-flex as you can see from this downward dog. Flexibility when it comes to my body is a challenge and when I ignore it I have a number of issues that creep up.
When you think about areas of your life that are challenging you ... what happens when you ignore them? Do they magically disappear for you? I bet they don’t and when that issue resurfaces you’re even more frustrated than the first time. If you change the way you approach your challenges, become a little more flexible and work away at them everyday, you’ll see progress. Progress might be small to start but it’s important to celebrate it all.
When I practice yoga, stretch and foam roll regularly I become more flexible and have significantly less pain in my body. What’s that nagging issue that you are just hoping will magically disappear? How would your life change for the better if you actively started working on making it better every single day?
