This is my friend Angel visiting from NY. We met in Cocoa Beach today and had great time catching up on life and our business adventures. The resort comped our meals due to taking 4+ hours on a business transaction and delaying our fun by 2 hours..That resulted in me driving back to Daytona after dark. Boo.

We became friends from the minute I heard her speaking with an agent as we both checked into the 3 day real estate investor's conference in Orlando, back in May of 2023. I thought Angel might be one of the celebrities so I stuck around to listen to her conversation. As it turned out, she was just another student and a very good negotiator, convincing the agent to give her a special deal on their CRM software app of which I knew nothing about at the time. I too bought it on day 3 but at full price. Darn! Anyway, I found her personality and laughter to be infectious. At cocktail hour, we both met Lillian, an RN from Ocala. We all became good friends and continued studying together over zoom meetings and staycations together to strenghten our buying and selling strategies over the the next 2 years.

Before I had to drive back home tonight, I urged her to take this cold breezy weather back to NY! Cathy Meritt

Brevard flooding recovery resources: The flooding cleanup to reqyest volunteer support's deadline passed last week. I was able to help get pictures submitted for the older people needing assistance in getting requests into portal.

Fema is a little backed up in responding back to people by at least 2 weeks.

American Red Cross may still have cleanup kits available.

Call 211 anytime fir additional resource help in Central FL. This also would include requests for Meals on Wheels, emergency housing for veterans, etc.
Brevard Aging Matters is another good resource to call directly.
