Scorpio sun. Cancer Moon. Enneagram 4. HD 5/1 Generator. I feel ALL the things and have always had an innate ability to tap in to things beyond the physical. I believe everything we need is within & comes from a higher power. We have become so disconnected as a society that we forget that. We look outside of ourselves and then we hit a breaking point. For me, that breaking point came in 2017ish and again in 2019 and it's been quite the journey since. Through the years of navigating motherhood, career, loss/grief, divorce, homeschool and everything in between, I had the revelation that my purpose is to live ON PURPOSE & in the present as much as possible and to help lead others to do the same through a variety of modalities to include movement, intuitive energy healings, journaling, creating, community, meditation, soul care, classes, & workshops.

*Guiding women to trust their inner wisdom, embrace authenticity, and cultivate intentional living through the transformational mix of movement, mindfulness and self love.*

This practice is about remembering and returning. Quality over quantity. We are building community, connection & authentic expression in my classes and offerings. To be seen. To feel held. Join us.

We had a blast last night during partner / friend yoga. It was about play, not perfection and it was so much fun!

I'm sore from laughing so much - thank y'all for playing! 🤣

It reminded me how much adults need to laugh and play just as much as children do - and when you have a partner/friend join in, it brings a whole other level of connection, communication, play and fun.....things we sometimes forget to engage in as we age.

I'll be offering another one of these classes - comment if you'd like to stay in the know when I do!

I used to think slowing down meant weakness or laziness, or if I paused or slowed, I would fail. I would push push push until life made me slow down. I would get sick, I would implode or explode, I would forget important things. I would go so hard and hustle so much partly out of have to, partly out of survival... but then I discovered I am HUMAN. (Ha, no seriously, I guess I thought I was a superhero or something.)

And in that discovery, I began to lean into the pause. Honoring the slow down.

If you can relate, if your nervous system is screaming for relief, I made something for you. It's not a checklist (though if you're like me you need a good checklist;)) but these are real practices that land in your body and soul. Ones I use often and have compiled for you to use as you need.

✨ The Pause is seven short, embodied reset sessions — 6–12 minutes each —
breathwork, somatic tune-ins, gentle movement, & guided reflection. ✨

It's just you... forget perfection, expectations.
It's just you... present & grounded.
Do one a day.
Do them all.
Use them anytime life gets loud.

You will not fail by slowing down. You are human and humans need time and space to remember.

Sound like something you need? Here's the link. Purchase one time and have access for one year. Let me know if it serves you well and if you'd like more offerings like this.

If you could share this post, I'd be most grateful - sharing is caring and we could all use a little extra love and care right now

I love conversations around what yoga truly is. i have heard so many over the years and wanted to share a few of the most common. My favorite thing is when the humans come in for a class or 1:1 and I can literally see and feel the shift in their posture, their breath and their minds. It is beautiful.

Myth: You have to be flexible.
Truth: People come to yoga because they are stiff - in body, mind or life. Yoga meets you where you are. I always say your yoga, your mat. Find what feels good in YOUR body. No matter what. Your stiffness is why you need it. :)

side note: it’s taken me years to bend like i am in this photo. there were so many steps and modifications i have practiced for my body as i was making space and progress. there are always alternatives!

Myth: You must look a certain way to belong.
Truth: Wrong…a lie built by social media. Yoga is for tired bodies, aging bodies, injured bodies, imperfect bodies……HUMAN bodies.

Myth: Yoga is all love and light.
Truth: No. It is shadow and light, grief and grace, rage and release. If it doesn’t touch the truth, it isn’t yoga… it’s performance.

Myth: yoga is a religion.
Truth: Absolutely not. Yoga is a PRACTICE that all humans benefit from. It is a way of life - with many layers that you are responsible for figuring out - it is not a belief system. It is the ultimate practice of surrender and no matter your belief, surrendering to the breath reminds us that we are alive, we are human.

Myth: It’s only about poses.
Truth: Poses are the language and just a small part of yoga. The point is awareness, choice, and how you show up off your mat.

Learn to bend so you don't break.

Your body knows what your mind is tired of holding.

In my classes we learn to bend, in the shapes that best flow with YOUR body. Learn now to slow the noise, move the stagnation, and remember yourself in motion.

Gentle, intentional, human.... not perfect, just present.

If you’ve been carrying more than you’re admitting, bring it to the mat.

Let’s breathe, bend, and recalibrate together.

Tonight: Community & Movement
(5:30 - 7 p.m. / $25 drop in or purchase a package and save $5 per class)
Register by 4:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:15 p.m.
