🚨Something New Is Coming from Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid🚨

For years, organizations across Northern Illinois have trusted us for CPR, AED, and First Aid training. But one thing we’ve noticed during our visits is that many workplaces have lifesaving AEDs installed… yet no system in place to make sure they are actually ready when an emergency happens.

Expired pads.
Dead batteries.
Missing inspection records.

When seconds matter, those issues can make the difference between a lifesaving rescue and equipment that doesn’t work.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that Northern Illinois CPR and First Aid will soon be launching a brand-new service designed to help organizations monitor and maintain their AED programs.

Our upcoming NICPR HeartSafe Monitor Program will help businesses ensure their AEDs are:

✔ Ready for an emergency
✔ Properly inspected
✔ Maintained according to best practices
✔ Documented and organized

This is something many of our training partners have been asking for, and we’re excited to bring it to our community.

To every student who has taken a class with us — thank you. Whether you were required to attend or chose to learn on your own, you are now part of a growing network of lifesavers across Northern Illinois. The skills you’ve learned matter more than you may ever realize.

This milestone is also a reflection of the foundation built by our co-founder, Lori Jasper. Lori believed deeply in service, in education, and in the power of calm, confident action during an emergency. Her passion continues to guide our mission and inspire our work every day.

What started as an idea to strengthen our community has grown into something far greater than we ever imagined. And we’re just getting started.

Thank you for nine incredible years of support, partnership, and trust. We are grateful — and excited for what’s ahead.

Last week, our owner Zach Oltmanns had the privilege of presenting at the MABAS-Illinois conference on the topic of dispatcher CPR (T-CPR).

T-CPR is more than a protocol. It is a lifeline. A calm, confident voice giving clear instructions can mean the difference between life and death in the critical minutes before first responders arrive. When dispatchers are properly trained and supported, they become the first link in the chain of survival.

Zach has remained committed to strengthening dispatcher-assisted CPR programs, advocating for continued advancement of T-CPR across Illinois, and equipping both telecommunicators and communities with the training and confidence to act when it matters most.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of continuing to honor and support our mom and co-founder, Lori Jasper.

Lori’s children presented a check to Dr. Puri in support of lung cancer research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine Rockford . Dr. Puri and her dedicated team are committed to advancing research and early detection efforts in the fight against lung cancer.

This donation represents more than a financial contribution. It represents a life devoted to serving others. It represents compassion, leadership, and the belief that we can leave our community better than we found it.

Even in her absence, Lori continues to make an impact.
