Have you ever wondered how you can help Freedom Reins? We are going to start posting a need of the month each month on Facebook. For March, we are needing to do some spring cleaning and organization at the barn. We need locking cabinets with doors, and a toy refresh for lessons. Also looking for some organization tubs as well. We have created an amazon wish list if you would like to help us with any of these needs. If you would like to just donate, we also have PayPal. Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers! Have you heard about our girls group that meets once a month? We do a devotional, prayer, snack, and activities. Last month, we learned about friendships in the Bible and how to be good friend. This month, we are meeting the 20th, 5:30-7, at Freedom Reins. Bring a friend and be ready to love on some horses. See you there!

Jax McCray!

Jax has been a part of the Freedom Reins fam for a couple of years now. She's a student and a volunteer. She occasionally helps with feeding horses, cleaning stalls, teaching lessons, and events.

Outside of the barn, Jax is going to school to be a mechanic, loves spending time with her niece, and is involved in her church.

We are so appreciative of everything you do! Thank you for continuing to enjoy our program and help take care of our horses. We love you!

In January, we got together and discussed how God gives us hope. We can trust in Him and have so much to look forward to. We also talked about the opposite of hope and what affects that has on our mental health. Our activity was probably the most uplifting one yet. We took a few minutes to write something kind about each person. By the end of the rotations, we all had a page FULL of the things that God has created us to be. We are so blessed to have this community of support in our horse girls.

JANUARY volunteer(s) of the month: the McCollum family!!!

Huge announcement (if you didn't already know)- Janelle is Freedom Reins' new president! 🥳 We are looking forward to this next chapter and what's to come. She brings a lot of experience, dreams, strategies, eagerness, and prayer to the team.

It's really become a family affair as they have spent countless freezing nights taking care of the horses this winter. They've also been instrumental in helping with our events these past few months. Thank you for stepping up and stepping in.

Janelle, you and your family are so appreciated. The future is bright!

Our village continues to show up over and over again. When the pond froze, so did our water source. Doug is saving the day and keeping our stir crazy babies supplied with plenty of fresh water (but they'd rather be outside eating snow).
