Happy National Volunteer Appreciation Week!
I truly can’t say enough about how much I appreciate these two incredible ladies. They are always there for me whenever I need them—which, honestly, is quite often! Their dedication, kindness, and constant support mean more than words can express.
Jackie and Leslie have been part of ICG for many years, giving their time and hearts to support our activity department. They genuinely love our residents, and it shows—because the residents absolutely love them right back.
Jackie and Leslie, please know how deeply appreciated and loved you both are. Thank you for always showing up, for caring so much, and for making such a difference every single day. We are beyond grateful for you!

In honor of National Volunteer Appreciation Week, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our church family at Faith Baptist Church of South Shores. We are truly thankful for the time and dedication you show by visiting us each month on the third Tuesday.
Your visits bring so much joy and encouragement. From singing together and sharing in prayer, to hearing a meaningful message from the pastor and enjoying fellowship, each moment is a blessing to us all. Your kindness, compassion, and commitment make a lasting difference in our lives.

Our Spotlight This Week: Kreckles
Kreckles continues to be a favorite destination for our residents when they’re in the mood for classic comfort food—cheeseburgers, fries, milkshakes, and ice cream.
During our most recent outing, the group enjoyed a lunch visit that certainly lived up to expectations. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the experience left everyone satisfied.
It’s always a pleasure to share these enjoyable moments together, and this visit was no exception.

We were in the mood for something fun, so when cravings hit, we decided to turn it into a little adventure and headed out to Kreckles. What started as a simple idea quickly became a full-on feast. Burgers, fries, and thick milkshakes had us smiling between every bite.
And of course, we couldn’t stop there—dessert was non-negotiable. We grabbed cups of ice cream, sticking to the classics: vanilla and lemon, both absolute favorites. By the time we finished, we were completely stuffed, but it was the best kind of full—the kind that comes with laughter, good food, and even better company.
We left happy, full, and already talking about the next outing.

Bingo today was a blast—numbers flying, cards filling up, and excitement all around! 🎉 Plenty of winners shouted “BINGO!” and walked away with fun prizes. A great day full of laughs and lucky streaks!
