Where in the world did the name “Mommy on a Mission” come from?!?!?!?! Well back in 2009 I was given this name "Mommy on a Mission" as I was trying to figure it all out. But for some reason I wasn't quite for sure what I was supposed to do with this name or even what this vision was to include. I spent years wondering and hoping that the "ah-ha" moment would just jump out at me. It wasn't until I began to look at my own life and started to realize that I AM the Mommy on a Mission!!!! The answer was right under my nose the entire time!!! I spent years trying to balance several areas of my life. I was constantly searching for answers of how I was supposed to manage (lol) all the different aspects of my life. There were many times that I felt like giving up!!!! You see, after having my twins, seemingly NOTHING was in alignment. I suffered postpartum, I gained weight, I wasn't spiritually connected, my business(es) was an EPIC fail and my relationships were non-existent. But yet the vision I was given seemingly wouldn't go away as I so often wished that it would. Now when I look back, I think it was just me being afraid to put my hands on the vision that God gave me because I was afraid of failing! I wanted to appear "perfect" but at that time I had no idea that my “story” didn't exist inside “perfection”. I wanted to appear that I was this fit mom, amazing partner, successful entrepreneur, etc. that had it all together! It wasn't until later that I realized that people need solutions NOT “perfection”!!! People want to see real life SITUATIONS and real life SOLUTIONS! Not “made up” garbage!!! And trust me; people can sense fake energy a mile away!!! So with me realizing and understanding this, I began to understand that God had blessed me to be a vessel for other moms like myself. It was only afterwards that I began to embrace this vision and trust God (and myself) that I have EVERYTHING needed to walk this thing out! I no longer fear the “what if’s”! It doesn't matter that I don’t have all the answers to the questions. It doesn't matter if I screwed up! It doesn't matter that I am STILL GROWING! So what, who cares! I AM UNAPOLOGETICALLY ME!!! So with that being said, I am here to share ME; my struggles and successes in the areas of family, fitness and finances; which is what “Mommy on a Mission” is all about. Mommy on a Mission is about having it ALL (whatever "ALL" is for YOU). We must understand that we not only wear the “mommyhood” hat, but we’re also philanthropist, lovers, wives, girlfriends, besties, teachers, visionaries, and soooooo much more. So I’m introducing to you….. Mommy on a Mission is about balancing the things that are most important to us; our family, our health and fitness and financial freedom!!! Who’s ready???
