I have lived in Alpharetta since 1997 and practiced Nursing since 1991. My clinical area of expertise is Pediatrics and I am an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). I am a Registered Nurse and licensed in Georgia as a Lactation Consultant. My years of Nursing include experience at Egleston Children’s Hospital at Emory, Children’s at Scottish Rite, Pediatric Immediate/Urgent Care, Pediatric Outpatient Surgery Center, Northside Hospital in Outpatient Surgery and Lactation.

Wonderlove Lactation Services provides comprehensive lactation support for mothers and babies. In-home, office and virtual lactation consultations are available for mothers and infants experiencing difficulty with breastfeeding. I lead a support group for mothers and babies on Friday mornings 10:30-12 at the Milton Public Library, 855 Mayfield Road, that is free of charge. I am a firm believer in the power of breastfeeding and the amazing benefits for both mothers and babies. The first couple of days and the first three weeks really make a difference in your breastfeeding success. Early support helps you get off to a great start and establish a good milk supply. Teaching Tuesdays starts today from Wonderlove Lactation! Every Tuesday morning you can come to a class with your baby to learn more about breastfeeding, newborn and “old” baby care/feeding, make new friends and get the confidence you need to be your best. Learn and make new friends! Join me at the Small Craft Kids Club for Tuesdays at 10 for classes, make an appointment for an office visit or take a group class on Fridays. Starting a new year makes me reflect on the the past year. As I enter my 9th year in private practice, I am so grateful to the families who have trusted me with all of their babies from the first to the third or fourth:). I truly love working with women and supporting them by helping them navigate a small part of motherhood. I have been on both sides of this journey and it is always evolving and always a learning opportunity. I still learn at least something new with every family and experience so much joy and peace when I see a baby and a mother working together and learning together from the start. Every baby really is full of Wonder and every mother is full of Love (along with lots of patience, too)!
