Twisted Alley Chasers

Twisted Alley Chasers We are a group of Weather Enthusiasts, Spotters/Chasers. Our #1 goal is alerting the general public. Be sure to like our page to stay up to date.

We are a storm chasing team which has its members spread out between different countries from the UK and the USA. We chase severe weather which includes tornadoes, hurricanes, blizzards and any other severe weather event. We make reports to the local governments to give an earlier warning to the public and working as first response with our medical/Search & Rescue trained members, when people are in need after a severe weather event. We stream live so you can watch us live when we're out chasing and watch first hand to your own screen.

THE MOST ACTIVE PATTERN FOR TORNADOES SINCE 2011 AHEAD

A historically active April for severe weather and outbreaks appears possible this month across the central ant southern Great Plains. This active stretch will begin Friday/Saturday across the Texas Panhandle and southern Plains on Sunday, then ejecting northeast on Monday.

A train of large scale troughs are upstream fed by the positive North Pacific Oscillation that has persisted since 2023. Round after round of severe weather and tornadoes appears likely through much of the month of April 2026.

Shallow thunderstorms with embedded areas of rotation are what we’re watching with these initial thunderstorms. As a result, a tornado or two will be the main threat over the next couple of hours. Given how moist the atmosphere is, heavy rain is also a threat with these storms.

There is a large area with a Level 1/5 (Marginal) Risk today from the Southern Plains to the Great Lakes and into the Northeast. Higher severe probabilities (Level 2 of 5) exist from central Illinois to central New York and also from northwest Texas to western Oklahoma. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will be the primary threats from the storms today.

Our preliminary webpage for the March 26th severe storms has been published: https://www.weather.gov/iwx/03262026_severeweather. A mix of discrete supercells and bowing segments brought large hail and gusty winds to the area. We will have a survey team out in Huntington and Wabash counties later today.
