A pivotal moment in our cosmic timeline is now happening on February 17, 2026, at 7:01 AM ET, which also marks the first Aquarius eclipse we have experienced since 2018.

This Solar Eclipse occurs at 28 degrees 53 minutes of Aquarius, working with the critical, culminating energy of the 29th degree.

A Solar Eclipse New Moon energy is simultaneously a massive beginning that is aligning you with a brand new future-oriented trajectory, as well as a drastic ending of ‘what has been’.

This specific degree point is electrifying, especially because it is designed to stir up big endings in the collective and in our personal lives. It asks us to release what no longer fits within our previous version of life, whether that is a path, a role, a network, an ideology, or a friendship group. It could be quite surprising and unexpected, even to yourself.

The “shock and rock” intensity is very real as it is zapping us at multiple layers. This eclipse squares Uranus, which is currently direct at 27 degrees of Ta**us, conjunct Algol, and bringing up the darkest secrets, energies, and extremes. As Uranus moves through the final months of its transit in Ta**us, it is shaking the foundations of our collective systems, resources, and comfort zones. This is important in order for humanity to grow and not go back.

The Fire Horse New Year brings with it the opportunity to accelerate through change quickly. Burning away old patterns and karmic themes, not just at the personal level, but at the collective level of humanity. Tie that in with the Solar Eclipse in Aquarius which brings an energy of change through relationships and you have two powerful energies helping to usher in the new era of humanity where we move from a “me” culture to one of union.

Let’s use this energy not only for ourselves, but to assist with the much needed change for the collective.
