Friends, just a reminder that we will be closed this weekend for Thanksgiving, taking a little time to rest, gather with loved ones, and breathe in some gratitude.

Beloveds, you’re invited to our very first Healing Cup Sacred Remembrance Circle — a “not your typical grief support group” gathering devoted to connection, storytelling, and holding one another through the tender places.

The New Moon in November is a powerful time for reflection, personal growth, and opening the heart to deeper communication. It’s a moon that supports beginning healing work or calling in new energy where warmth and repair are needed.

In this circle, we’re creating a community where your grief is honored… where your story matters… where your heart can rest.
A space of validation, connection, and love, no matter where you are on your grief journey.

✨ Remembering those we’ve lost
✨ Gentle connection with others walking similar paths
✨ A shared cup of tea, intentionally blended for grief work... crafted with the energetics of herbs and the moon to soothe your mind, body, and spirit.

Looking for a way to help our community this holiday season? Thyme 'N Again Apothecary along with many other downtown businesses will be doing a food and non-perishable essential items drive on November 15th inside each shop, that will benefit our local food pantries. Come "Sleigh Christmas" at this event!

Also downtown, Mr. Willy's Dark Art and Oddities is doing a can opener drive, that will be donated directly to Rooted for Good. Many in our community rely on food pantries, but not everyone has a way to open the food they receive. They are accepting manual and handheld electric can openers in their shop, along with ready to eat foods such as tuna packs, beef jerky, protein bars, and canned fruits.

Come immerse yourself in the Danish lifestyle or concept of Hygge this weekend as we join the monthly Hygge Program at the Dekalb Public Library, providing one of our brand new teas for the occasion.

What's Hygge you ask? Hygge is a Danish concept that refers to a feeling of cozy contentment and well-being, created by enjoying simple things in life with good people. It is about creating a warm, comfortable atmosphere and embracing moments of togetherness and peace, often associated with things like lighting candles, sharing a meal, or relaxing at home with loved ones.

This program runs once a month, September thru May. They make crafts, do trivia, enjoy warm beverages, and enjoy the company of new friends in a cozy setting.

Come join us this Sunday November 2nd from 2 to 4pm in the Yusannas room at the Dekalb Public Library 309 Oak Street.

We do our best to keep our hours consistent so we can serve you well, but as moms with families, we’re also doing our best to balance both home and shop life this season.

We've got eggs...sooo many eggs!! Farm fresh from a local Dekalb farm.
If you haven't tried farm fresh, what are you waiting for?? The taste, color, freshness and size are significantly different than your grocery store eggs.
We currently have peewee through jumbo....come grab a dozen or 2 before we sell out!

We are so happy to welcome our new neighbors into the neighborhood today!! Opening day for Mr. Willy's Dark Art and Oddities across the street from us today!!! They are open from 11 to 7pm, Come down and show them some love. We were so excited to see a sneak peak of the shop yesterday... it is amazing, and beautiful!!! Be sure to check them out when you come downtown!

What an amazing weekend we had!!✨️🧙‍♀️✨️
Thank you to all of our local customers that made the trip to enjoy the Wolf Hollow Witches Market, and for stopping in to see us! Our hearts are so full of love and gratitude to see you there! We know there was quite a lengthy line to get in, and in nearly 90° heat and sunshine!☀️ We hope you had as much fun as we did! We appreciate YOU! 💚

Many thanks to Wolf Hollow, Randy and Liz...we are so blessed and grateful to be a part of such a well run, loved event.✨️🧙‍♀️💚✨️ Your army of amazing volunteers ensured an incrediblely organized, and incredible event. Your dancers were amazing...goosebumps!! Looking forward to doing it all again next year🔮✨️

Boneyard Babes Designs ... we only knew you for a few hours, but left feeling like old friends. Thank you for the help, conversations, and love....also the bandaids, for our injuries🤦‍♀️, and your wagon for our backs!😘

Our soul sisters from Séance at Tiffany’s Dekalb we love you girls so much💜 So glad we were in the neighborhood together at the event, and here at home. Thank you for your love and support always. We look forward to all that lies ahead for us💜

The Back Alley Market last Saturday and donated food, supplies, and egg vouchers for our local families in need!! We had so many wonderful donations!! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts💚🌿

*Quick reminder that we are ONLY open at the shop Thursday this week!! We will be in Belvidere at the 5th Annual Wolf Hollow Witches Market Saturday, so bring your friends and come see us and all the other amazing 178 vendors!!The amazing ladies from Séance at Tiffany’s Dekalb will also be there😘

We hope to see you in the shop tomorrow..we will have extended hours Thursday only! The NIU 118th Homecoming Block Party will be held downtown tomorrow from ⏰️ 5-8pm, and we will be open for that showing our Huskie Pride🐶🐾! The pep rally will be right in front of our shop! Come down for family fun, a car show, March of the Huskies, a pep rally, food trucks, and more!!

We will resume our normal hours next Thursday October 9th!

🌿Hi friends! 🌿 We are so excited to see everyone at Back Alley Market tomorrow! Only 1 more sleep!!

Be sure to come see us tomorrow ....Saturday Sept 27th, during the market which runs from 9am to 3pm. Dont forget there will be a drop location in front of our shop that will benefit local families in need. Please bring non perishable items, or pop in and donate a dozen eggs for $5. Truly farm to table with our local farm fresh eggs!🥚
