It can be confusing when you are looking for a therapist to know which one is right for you! I prefer licensed to non licensed for pediatrics and feel the therapist should have training in child therapy to work with kids. However, In the end, it’s most important that your child feels comfortable seeing that particular therapist.

Let’s talk P**p! Breastfed newborns in the first 6-8 weeks of life should be p**ping daily! But then, once they hit 6-8 weeks, it’s totally okay if their p**p pattern changes and it’s less frequent! Your baby is more effective in using what they are given and gut bacteria is changing.

If the p**p is soft and mushy, your infant is happy, they are growing well, their belly is soft and they are passing gas…you are good! **p

Coffee talk Monday: let’s talk Facebook Mom Groups! Love ‘em or Hate ‘em…they have some great uses for socializing, learning about what’s in the area, etc but I don’t love them for what they are becoming…a substitute for legitimate medical advice and it’s scary when moms give advice that could lead to missing something terrible. The crux of my video today: don’t use mom groups for medical advice and when to call the doctor…if you are worried about something, call your doctor! Or if your a part of Thrive Pediatrics, just text me a picture!
