The veil thins, the air turns still, and the world begins its quiet descent into rest. Samhain marks the turning of the wheel — a time to honor the end of harvest, our ancestors, and all that has run its course.

I always feel this season deep in my bones. It’s not just about endings — it’s about the space that endings create for renewal. The slowing down, the inward turn, the gathering of warmth and spirit before winter settles in.

From my apothecary shelves, I lean into comforting blends — herbs that ground, warm, and protect; tallow that soothes the skin as the air grows colder; simple rituals that reconnect me to the earth.
