1 month check in! Weight, pictures, and measurements are all taken and I’m really happy with the results. This past month I set goals around consistency on both the mat and in the kitchen. I wanted to do at least 45 minutes of mat time every day and hit my caloric/macro targets which I did. One of the biggest goals I had set focused on mindset. Recognizing that I do not need to be perfect and keeping the focus on me. Not comparing my journey to others. A big help was doing video journals on days when I wanted to recognize myself and reinforce good behaviors.
For February, I’m setting similar goals and continuing to work on consistency with the 3 pillars. (Fitness, Nutrition, Mindset) and am targeting another 10 Ibs to lose. One day at a time, we’ll see how it goes!

Set out to do 5 miles of intervals today BUT I Only made it to 3.4m. My knees and lower back were just not holding up and I’m not gonna risk injury for my ego. So I walked the rest of a total of 4 miles and am happy that I managed that.

In the past I’d beat myself for this “failure” but I’m gonna take it a win. I did what I could TODAY and that doesn’t mean I won’t get there eventually.. I’m working hard to flip that defeatist mindset that has held me down far too long.

Put in the work, do the best you can and smile along the way. Have a great day gang!
