✨ SELF-REGULATION GROUP FOR KIDS (AGES 8–12) ✨
Is your child struggling with big feelings, sensory overwhelm, or focus?
If your child wants to do well—but their body or emotions sometimes take over—this group is for them 💛

Tune In & Take Control helps kids learn how to:
• Understand what their body is telling them
• Regulate emotions before they feel overwhelming
• Build confidence through movement, mindfulness, and connection

This isn’t about “fixing” behavior.
It’s about giving kids tools that actually work.

✨ OT-informed
✨ Small group (max 5 kids)
✨ Skills kids can use at home and school

✨Yes, I teach mindfulness. No, it doesn’t work the same way for every child.

Do you have an anxious child who becomes more dysregulated when asked to “check in” with their body?

You’re not doing it wrong and your child isn’t either. Inward-focused mindfulness isn’t regulating for everyone.

This is why I integrate OT and trauma-informed approaches with mindfulness, adapting practices to support different nervous systems instead of forcing a single method.

Regulation looks different for different nervous systems.

💡 What if “can’t sit still” isn’t a behavior problem at all?

Slouching, fidgeting, and losing focus can be signs a child is working overtime just to hold their body up.

When postural control improves, attention and regulation often do too.

💪🧠 Movement is not a break from learning- it prepares the brain for it.

⚡️Tune In & Take Control is a 6-week body-based mindfulness and self-regulation group where “take control” means helping children build the skills to regulate themselves from the inside out!

⚡️Rather than relying on external reminders or behavior systems, children learn to understand their nervous systems, tune into body signals, and notice what their bodies need. Using evidence-based, body-based frameworks, kids practice movement, yoga, mindfulness, and connection to choose coping tools that help them feel more organized, focused, and emotionally balanced as they navigate everyday challenges.

👉🏻 Attention challenges are not a lack of effort. They reflect how the brain manages energy, interest, and stimulation.

👉🏻 Sensory challenges are not behavioral problems or a lack of coping. They reflect how the brain processes and responds to sensory input and how the body stays regulated.

✅ Supporting regulation first can prevent frustration, reduce meltdowns, and open the door to learning.
