Happy Sunday!
Perimenopause is a clinical diagnosis, not a lab diagnosis. Hormone levels fluctuate all over the place especially in the years leading up to menopause. Trying to “prove” perimenopause with bloodwork is like chasing the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. And symptoms are not just hot flashes and night sweats. They can be sleep issues, mood and nervous system changes, cognitive shifts, issues with energy or motivation, musculoskeletal problems, body composition changes, cardiovascular weirdness, sexual or pelvic changes, headaches or sensory disturbances, metabolic and lab changes.
Step into our office ladies….we are here to help! We are a practice that offers solutions to how this VERY REAL condition effects YOUR daily life.
TIPS
————————
•Write down your symptoms
•when they started
•how they effect your sleep, work, ability to function
•cycle change info
•tell us what you’ve already tried
