Today is World Read Aloud Day! 📖✨

Reading aloud opens the door to imagination, builds confidence, and sparks a lifelong love of literacy and learning. Today, we celebrate the powerful moments that happen when stories are shared out loud—between parents and children, teachers and students, and caring communities that come together to nurture young minds.

Through our Toys for Tots Literacy Program, we are helping ensure that every child has access to books and educational resources that inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and lay the foundation for brighter futures. Every story read aloud is a step toward opportunity, hope, and success.

For 20 years, the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County has brought together leaders, businesses, and neighbors to inspire a love of reading through Read for the Record, an early literacy initiative connecting adults and children through shared stories.

Presented nationally by Jumpstart and locally by the Literacy Coalition with PNC Grow Up Great, join us as a volunteer for Read for the Record Day on February 26, 2026 and help make an impact, one book at a time.
