It has become almost impossible to avoid the 100,000+ man made chemicals we’re exposed to every day. Food. Water. Air. Cosmetics. Cleaning products we use without thinking.
No wonder so many of us feel inflamed, tired, bloated, or just off. The truth is our liver can only handle so much. When the load is too high, toxins don’t disappear. They get stored and drive inflammation.
With Hashimoto’s, the liver works even harder.
Thyroid hormones are processed in the liver, and many of us see cholesterol go up because detox pathways are under stress.
I’m planning to start a gentle detox for myself, and I wanted to see if anyone wants to join me. Doing this in a group is easier and more supportive. You can choose 7, 14, or 21 days. If you have not done a detox in the past year my suggestion is the 21-day one.
How it works:
•I’ll invite participants to a private Facebook group created just for this detox. It will be closed once the program ends.
• I’ll share the link to the detox supplements I personally use to support liver detox. You can buy them from that website or use supplements you already know work for you. The ones I suggest are designed to help convert fat soluble toxins into water soluble ones so they can be safely eliminated.
• You’ll receive a food list to follow during this phase. This is a gentle elimination style approach. If you need inspiration, my website has plenty of simple, autoimmune friendly recipes you can use during the detox: https://aipwellnessjourney.com
• No snacks during this time this is very important. No eating between 6 PM to 6 AM or 7 PM to 7 AM or 8PM to 8AM. The goal is to give your body at least 12 hours overnight to focus on healing. I also suggest to leave at least 3 hours between the last meal of the day and the time you go to bed (ideally go to bed no later than 10PM during these 3 weeks).
• I’ll be available Monday mornings until noon for those 3 weeks of detoxing protocol to answer questions and support you.
We’ll start right after Valentine’s Day, so you can still enjoy going out that day ❤️. I will send the starting date soon.
