Woke up with gratitude for another day able to move my body. It’s easy to take movement for granted. As I can only speak from personal experiences, I notice sometimes that as humans we hyper fixate on the little things in life - perhaps negative - that hold us back causing us to be stagnant.
Stagnancy can be found when we aren’t moving. Yes stillness is essential, but it wouldn’t be stillness without movement.
Yoga is a reminder both are essential, stillness and movement. Movement is medicine. But stillness is medicine too.
The quickest way to move or get rid of old energy, is movement. Whether that’s walking,, yoga or other simple movements.
Today I’m grateful for the ability to walk, move and breathe. If you’re readyying this, I hope you notice any gratitude that comes up for you today that has to do with your ability to move.
