I'm going to take a guess here that we're now seeing the bees bring in golden yellow pollen from Dandelion! The pale yellow pollen is from Silver Maple and has been coming in for a bit now! Are you seeing any other colors coming in Denver?

60-70°F days here in Denver, CO with the bees! 🥰 I noticed dandelion greens coming up today...won't be long! 🌼🪻🌷

Been watering our front yard in February due to the lack of moisture we've seen this winter. Hoping the bees are adjusting to this wacky world too! 🙃 Hope everyone is hanging in there!

These are the trees on our property and I'm so grateful to have an abundance of established trees for the bees! 🌳

We've also planted a Golden Raintree, Kentucky Coffee Tree, Hawthorn and a Gingko, but no buds on those ones yet.

My neighbor has a huge Silver Maple tree, but I couldn't even reach the lowest hanging branches to grab a sample. It's one of the very first trees here in Denver that puts out an abundance of pollen for the bees! Did you know trees are a huge pollen source for honey bees?

What trees do you have in your yard and are they budding yet?

Pollen! 🟡 Pollen!! 🟡 Pollen!!! 👀 Do you see their pollen pants!?! It's 2/8/26 and 65° days here in Denver, CO. This is the first time this year I've seen my hives bringing in pollen and they were gettin' it!!! 🥳 Well done girls!!!

Reducing pesticide use is critical. Ideally, pesticides would be eliminated altogether. This article is worth the read if you have a few moments. Raising our own awareness and overall public awareness of the effects and consequences of pesticide use is a step in the right direction. So much harm is being done to every generation and we need to reevaluate and see the truth of this issue. Boost the Bees got a makeover! 🥳 If you remember, our house used to be white with pale green trim, but not anymore!!! Lookin' good, right! ❤️ We will be working on the exterior throughout 2026, but for now here's a heads up for next year's customers! You've come to the right spot, we just look a billion times better!!! 😉
