Starting July 27th, join us every Saturday at 10:30 am for a FREE / donation-based yoga class. This means you can pay what you want! 🙏

"Yoga for EveryBODY" is designed to be accessible to all levels of yoga practitioners. Whether you've never practiced yoga or you're an advanced yogi, this class is all about showing up to a heart-centered sangha and enjoying the practice together. We will share the scientific teachings of yoga, gather in conscious community to establish and maintain friendships, and strive for an elevated quality of life. 🤙

I was recently asked, “Why forgive when it does not change the truth?”
After thinking more carefully here is my answer:
When you are not able to forgive, you allow anger or resentment to take up space in your mind. Forgiveness is the ability to release something in your emotional body that is no longer serving you. If you stay attached to anger it affects your well-being and often becomes an ongoing construct within your reality. It is important to recognize everyone holds their own truth. Therefore, forgiveness is not a gift you give to someone else; it is something to give yourself. Most importantly though, the capacity to forgive starts with the ability to forgive yourself.

Happy International Yoga Day! 🙏🏼💗🧘🏽‍♀️

What does yoga mean to you?

The beauty of yoga is there are so many different ways to practice both on and off your mat. Your physical practice can eb and flow with the seasons of your life and it doesn’t make you any less of a practitioner.

Yoga is the practice of gratitude.
Yoga is showing kindness to your neighbor.
Yoga is how you speak to yourself.
Yoga is loving the planet.
Yoga is self-reflection.
Yoga is discipline.
Yoga is practice not perfection.
I could go ON… but what is yoga to you?

Focus on the Space Between.

Encourage yourself to slow down. To breathe fully though moments rather than rushing straight onto the next.

We often live running or sprinting towards our next goal. This sense of urgency takes away from experiencing the moment.

When you notice the “Space Between” your breath, your movements, or your actions, you are present with what IS. And slowly, the Space Between becomes the most important part of your path.

How you do one thing is how you do everything. 💭

Real transformation happens when we start to practice yoga off our mats and within all aspects of our being. I’ve been meditating on how to show non-violence (Ahimsa) to myself and others.

Here are some ways I choose to practice non-violence daily:
- Respecting my own time
- Listening to when my body needs rest
- Letting go of expectations I cling onto
- Being mindful of how my decisions may impact others
- Changing my mindset to “things happen for me, not to me”
- Reacting with kindness
