Our monthly dog walk on Saturday, March 28 has a special treat: Girl Scout Troop #67294 will be set up outside the pet building selling Girl Scout cookies! 🍪

Come grab your favorites, support the troop, and enjoy a festive, St. Patrick’s Day-themed walk with the community.

Walks begin at 9:00 AM
📍 Meet at the Family Pet Loss Care building, just inside the Quebec Street entrance
☕ Coffee will be available

No dog required. Dogs must be leashed.

It's National Puppy Day! Give your pets some extra love and cuddles or take them on a long walk on the Fairmount grounds today to celebrate.

Remembering River Rucker-Reynolds

"River Rucker-Reynolds, lovingly referred to as “Baby Girl” by her family, was born in 2015 and left the earth behind on 1/1/2026. Initially fostered at just a few months old by her mother, Nicki, she quickly became a foster failure as her enchanting personality and zest for life stole Nicki’s heart.

Curious and spirited, while also shy and timid, River was a bit of a contradiction. Once she opened up, her love was boundless. Whether it was snugs and kisses with the people around her, or with her sister, she lacked a single mean bone in her body..."

At Fairmount Family Pet Loss Care, we understand the deep bond between pets and their families. We’re honored to help families remember and celebrate that love.
