Hey Friends! Collaboration Station up in here! The Better World Company and New Moon Refillery have teamed up to make your sustainability journey even more awesome.

You can now get bulk versions of Denver’s best earth-friendly detergents and household cleaners from Denver’s coolest new zero-waste refill delivery service.

For those unfamiliar with either of us:
manufactures a full lineup of amazingly effective, plant-based, biodegradable, non-toxic household products.

buys bulk quantities of all your favorite household cleaners, personal care products, and plastic-free durable goods. They refill reusable containers with whatever amount of product you choose to order, then deliver to your door.

When you order your liquid spray cleaners you can use the low-cost container deposit system, or reuse a donated container for free. You can also order just the right amount of powdered detergent, which comes in a low-impact paper bag that can be recycled or composted.

What else makes this so cool? Number one, we’re both local to Denver - which means you get to support two local businesses, and we get to lower our shipping impacts.

Additionally, the empty detergent buckets are collected and refilled by The Better World Company, and the spray cleaners are delivered as a powder concentrate so New Moon can reuse the same jug over and over again to fill your bottles. Truly a “close-the-loop” revolution in the refill game!

On a scale of One to Infinity, this pop-up is going to be...shall we say...far out.

We'll be at the Denver Sports Castle this Saturday, January 21st from 10am - 5pm for the annual Mindful Marketplace (free to attend), followed by the other-worldly Castle Bash party from 8pm-1am ($20 tickets on EventBrite).

Come see us at the marketplace with 50+ local artists and vendors, live music, food trucks, yoga, and educational breakout sessions. The Castle Bash will have a full DJ lineup with live artists, an arcade bus, and more.

How did we get here?

In the Spring of 2017 I watched a documentary called ‘A Plastic Ocean’. The film is amazing, and anything I say here won’t do it justice, so just go watch it. No big secret on the storyline: Humans produce an astounding amount of plastic. More than we know what to do with. It has to go somewhere, and since everything rolls downhill the ocean becomes a very popular destination. The experience was powerful; it left me inspired to change my habits and reduce my personal plastic consumption. I think it will do the same for you.

“NO MORE SINGLE-USE PLASTICS!”, I shouted from the (metaphorical) mountaintop. But I was soon met with a huge obstacle – most of the products we bought in stores or online were only sold in plastic packaging. There were no alternatives; at least none that were economical or convenient enough for a family like ours. I, as an individual, felt powerless to make the change that I so desperately desired.

I needed to think bigger. What if I brought enough people along for the ride so that we could actually reshape the supply chain into a circular, zero-waste model? The Better World Company was born. We’re here to help end the wasteful stream of single-use plastic while providing convenient, automated home delivery of environmentally friendly household products - made locally whenever possible - that look great and perform even better.

We’re starting small, with a focused offering of high-quality products that most people use regularly and a delivery area that allows for efficiency and top-notch customer service. We want to build this the right way, with the right products, and with the right people (like you!). Let us know if there’s a brand you absolutely love. We’ll reach out to them to see if we can develop a partnership and bring you even more great products. You can help us grow by telling your friends, neighbors, and co-workers about what we do. We’ll come to other neighborhoods or offices when enough people tell us to.
