Right now, there are dreams sitting on hold…waiting for someone to say yes.

Across the U.S., more than 23,000 youth age out of foster care every year, and many are left to navigate adulthood without the support system most of us take for granted. Too often, that means putting their goals, passions, and even basic needs on pause.

But it doesn’t have to stay that way.

On our site, real dreams from aged-out foster youth are waiting to be fulfilled: things like launching a small business, securing stable housing, or getting the tools they need for school and work.

Don’t let these dreams sit any longer.

Public input on topics include:

▪️How age, litter frequency, and genetics affect health outcomes
▪️Best practices for exercise and socialization to promote dog welfare

Poor little Brookie had a very unusual complication with her spay surgery last July. She popped a stitch while straining to go to the bathroom, and her insides were messed up until the vet figured out what was wrong. I’m thankful that he and his staff skipped their lunch break that day to do emergency surgery to fix the problem. ❤️🐾 (Don’t worry, my husband and I delivered lunch to them so they wouldn’t starve.) I was grateful to have a twin bed in the puppy room so I could stay close to Brookie in her recovery pen 24/7. I included one happy photo to show that we moved past that sad experience and started going on fun adventures as soon as she healed. 💕🐾🎉

In Evergreen, Colorado. If you don’t live in Colorado, I encourage you to foster homeless animals where you live by reaching out to your local rescue groups. Fostering saves lives, and there are never enough foster homes. 🐾

Unless otherwise stated, we do not know how they are with cats, dogs, bunnies, etc. And they are coming from out of state, so it's impossible to do a meet and greet.

Fosters get first choice in adopting! And the rewards are endless!
