3 years ago today I posted this on my personal page, I don't consistently cultivate a social media presence but this was a point in my journey that effected me professionally and personally on many levels ๐ฅฐ I'm glad I wrote down this snapshot in time! It's so cool to feel back into this moment where I'd made a turning point. It's a reminder to keep pushing when you're doubting yourself, because the most rewarding lessons and highs usually come out of that pursuit to elevate and grow!
Finished Watsu 2 and I have a much deserved day off exploring San Diego tomorrow ๐ Finding proper alignment in the water, combining massage strokes and bodywork with footwork and utilizing movement to integrate and organize the skeleton in 3 dimensions were just some of the challenges that were presented during this opportunity to grow. I was thouroughly shaken out my comfort zone in so many ways and even questioned my capability to pursue moving futher along this path I've been drawn too. But in the end I feel that every struggle only showed me a deeper understanding of my potential and what I can bring to my community as a healer. I am looking forward to a long career in aquatic bodywork and I can't wait to keep learning from my wonderful teacher and listening to the bodies who join me in the water.
