Transmute That InnerG Beat Terminal Brain Cancer, Veteran Who Became His Own Healer, Sharing My Journey With The World

I honestly cannot believe the sheer incompetence that I have been dealing with while trying to get scheduled in with the VA oncologist here in Denver, Colorado.

Monica the nurse practitioner was even laughing while on the phone with me about the entire situation as if it were a laughing matter….

I have a terminal brain cancer diagnosis. So it’s definitely funny that I’m jumping through hoop after hoop?

I have called patient advocate. I have called speciality scheduling. I have shown up to my appointments. Yet here I am. I have done everything how I am supposed to and I refuse to play this game any longer.

They gave me 3 months to live over 3 years ago now. Imagine if I wasn’t doing so good, and I actually needed their help? If I actually had to rely on the VA to “ stay alive”…..

So many of our brothers and sisters are dying because of their incompetence. Mistreated, disrespected, and let down constantly.

Share this, tag people in high places, let’s get this out so we can continue to highlight the failures in the VA system and make the necessary changes that our veterans need.

I rate community care 1,000 times over again. I started my cancer journey out in town over 3 years ago for this very reason.

Stand up for yourself.

Refuse to take the disrespect, and learn your rights. Be your own advocate or find someone who will advocate for you.

You are not alone, and never out of this fight.

We like to start our days by hitting the gym first thing. Our energy is at our highest and primed for a good work out.

We have an array of supplements as well to support our body's needs when they come up, but i don't not believe in too many supplements. I really try to get everything from my food. Only supplementing what I need based on diagnostic testing.

After spending a much needed week off the gym, and completing another water fast, I needed to take it easy in the gym. I am not always the best at doing that, today was a good reminder to take it slow, and build back to where i was.

I truly am amazed at how healthy I have been and how well my body is responding to exercise again.

Keep Going

Starting to share more of my daily routine, and bringing everyone along in a day in the life has been fun.

I pretty much hit the gym 5-6 days a week, and follow it up with a plunge in some cold water, and a good meal.

I have a great routine for taking care of my body, and after nearly 30 years of just being sick, and not operating at my highest, it feels great to start to share a healthy version of myself with the world.

The cold exposure is so great for recovery, and great for my mental health. Resetting the nervous system to keep crushing it everyday.

Making sure i have my nutrition dialed is so key to staying physically ready for training. Keeping the momentum for the next day, each day.

Just getting started.

Always Love,
