Please arrange an appointment with your healthcare provider and ask for an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication.

The FDA recently updated its website to reiterate its concerns regarding unapproved GLP-1 drugs used for weight loss, explaining that these drugs (including compounded tirzepatide) “can be risky for patients” because they “do not undergo FDA’s review for safety, effectiveness and quality.” The update also includes important recommendations to help healthcare providers and patients ensure that patients are accessing FDA-approved medicine.

With expertise in sports injury, neuroscience, and pharmacology, along with extensive patient care experience. Ms. Karami speaks three languages and is currently pursuing a career in public health and a master's degree in the Physician Assistant program.
