Third trimester is not the time to “just survive.” It’s the time to prepare intentionally even if it feels like just surviving sometimes😉🤍
Here’s why these modalities matter:
🌿 Raspberry leaf tea and dates
Some studies suggest it may help support uterine tone, uterine contractions, cervix ripening and potentially shorten the second stage of labor. While evidence is mixed, it’s commonly used in late pregnancy under provider guidance. Also, they taste great and that evidence is not mixed😆
🧘🏽♀️ Daily mobility + relaxation practice
Prenatal exercise is associated with ↓ back + pelvic pain, ↓ risk of unplanned c section, and improves maternal and fetal well-being.
Breathing + nervous system regulation is EVERYTHING right now
🤍 Birth prep pelvic floor therapy
Research shows pelvic floor training and perineal preparation in late pregnancy can reduce perineal trauma and improve postpartum recovery. Learning how to relax the pelvic floor is just as important as strengthening it and that is where our team comes in!
📝 Creating and communicating a birth plan
It is always great to create a birth plan, but it must be articulated clearly and early with your team to ensure your desires are met. Clear communication with your provider is associated with higher birth satisfaction and improved perception of control strongly tied to postpartum mental health outcomes.
The third trimester is all about preparation.
Your body is already capable.
We just help you understand how and feel empowered✨
