With more than a decade of career experience as a professional Spanish Translator & Interpreter, Littleton, Colorado-based Hilda Arellano has worked extensively in most every industry imaginable, from medical and finance to real estate and vocational trade. As Founder, Owner & Operator of her own Interpreting Specialists, Inc., Hilda’s specialties include interpreting and translation services working the highly skilled medical arena (psychological evaluations, neuropsychological evaluations, physical therapy, vocational evaluations, IME doctors visits and functional capacity evaluations), alongside legal depositions, recorded statements and hearings. She has also assisted with social services, immigration, Social Security, employee hiring, customer service, workmen's compensation, personal injury, real estate closings and conference calls. She has also worked with physicians, claimants and claims adjusters, as well as interpretation & translation of medical documentation, questionnaires and general letters. She also transcribed medical reports while acting as a liaison between pharmacists, nurses and patients. Hilda earned a diploma from Denver’s Barnes Business College, and has been a member of the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. She has volunteered for Mi Casa Resource Center, the LAEF Gala and Girls on the Run. Rocky Mountain Children's Center, Colorado Tattoo Convention as well as many other community events. Her personal interests include: animal welfare, arts & culture, civil rights, social action, education, health & human rights, and social services.
