MAKING THE CUT
As I sat watching a race event called, "The Battle Of The Barn". God showed me things about those whom are of the Kingdom!
A motorcycle racer propelled himself out of the start gate ahead of others, thereby giving him an advantage called a hole-shot. He had prepared himself, was focused, ready, and determined to defend his position. God spoke to me and said, "This is what studied workers of my Kingdom should emulate". Preparing ourselves with the WORD, (a racer practices many laps) being steadfast, ready to defend the Gospel, (a racer holds his position) willing to lead , (A racer wants to be out front) and lead others to Christ! As the race continued, I observed many crashes, and spills, bumps and thrills. Each time, the racer would get up from the fall, assess himself and his equipment for damages. He would re-adjust and repair when necessary and than got right back into the race! God desires us to do the very same. When we fall, do we check ourselves to inventory what might be off balance, does our thinking need adjusted? Are we making the necessary repairs in our hearts in order to run our Spiritual race ? When we take a few hits and bumps from the adversary, are we prepared to defend ourselves? Have we modified our speech that our power is reached? Do you run from the church, from GOD, or stay in the race? So as this race event concluded, many of the participants became disqualified. They were not the "CHOSEN" select few whom were honored to race in the "MAIN EVENT". Perhaps due to bad equipment fails, or being too slow, maybe a penalty point for not following the rules. God further spoke to me saying, "The world is like this also". Many begin the Christian race, but the children of my Kingdom are already separated , and have been chosen for the call, and they shall receive thier crown of victory....those who endure the race.
