Bill always tries to make Sundays special for us since Monday's are my chemo treatment day. I've been feeling good and doing great with the treatments. Well, a lot has hit our plate since Kristy's found out that her cancer has returned in March. The good news is that she has responded well to her chemo regimen so far and of course her courageous spirit makes me proud to be her partner. Unfortunately, the hair loss is part of her treatment, but she still is so beautiful both inside and out. Her breast cancer (Her 2 - Low Level +) has spread which categorizes Kristy with Stage 4. The cancer is in her Spine, Bones, Liver, and Lungs. We have overcome the emotional stress through and love and will to live each day to the fullest. We have been blessed with so much support from our family, friends, and others that just care. We are grateful for the prayers and will keep ambitions targeted to LIVE. We are building a bucket list which if you know us will keep us traveling this amazing planet. Hold the one you love tonight like time is running out. Love is a medicine that can heal everything. We'll keep you posted and share our adventure.

Good afternoon everyone. I'm sure there are questions to my request for prayers, so I wanted to update our status.

Unfortunately, my beautiful wife Kristy who had previously overcome cancer some 7 years ago just found out that it has returned and we are preparing to battle this terrible disease beginning this week. All that know Kristy are aware of her tenacity and beauty that makes her my ultimate hero. Those that don't know her would instantly be enamored by her incredible smile, beautiful eyes, and genuine spirit.

We are blessed with an incredible love for each other and surrounded by friends and family's amazing support. We just ask for continued prayers and thank you all. Please God, watch over us.

I got some great news from my doctor today, I am cancer free!!!! This is the great news that I have been waiting for. I have my last radiation treatment tomorrow. I have my Herceptin treatments till January. I'll have my reconstruction surgery in either October or November. Then just regular check ups. I am so grateful for all the prayers and support from everyone. I really am feeling well and doing great. I am even working part time and going to the gym. I really do feel that God has given me a second chance in life and I'm going to live to the fullest.

Jul 8 - Day 162
Well, it's confirmed. I met with the radiologist last week and it was decided that I will forego 25 radiation treatments over the next 5 weeks beginning Monday. I'm told it is painless and quick. The funny part is that I had to get three small tattoo dots to line up the treatment and the only thing that help me decide is that I will NEVER get a tattoo. That hurt like hell - lol. I also started a Herceptin regiment to treat my HER2 positive condition. Still on the mend. Feeling good. I have been in the gym with Bill and we are getting stronger everyday. Will keep you posted. Thanks as always for the support. Love ya!

Hi everyone. I just wanted to update you all on whats going on. I went to the doctor to get the drain out which is wonderful not having that on me, I feel free!!! Monday I go to the radiologist to see if I need radiation or not. I was told today I might not need it so lets keep our fingers crossed. I'm feeling better each day and stronger, I'm also working out. I will update on Monday about the radiation. Again everyone thanks for the support and prayers both Bill and I appreciate it Love you all.
