WHY I'M RUNNING FOR A COMMISSIONER POSITION WITH THE DIX HILLS FIRE DISTRICT:
Our community has one of the premier fire departments on Long Island. My love for the organization motivates me to serve the community; to safeguard, support, and provide for its future. As a 20-year volunteer member, I've been an active firefighter, officer, and rescue driver. But that hasn't been enough for me. I wanted to give more. As such, I serve as a Trustee, ensuring that the department's finances are managed in the best way possible.
And now it's time to give of myself even more. I'm the owner /operator of one of the largest furniture manufacturers on Long Island, and I have a great deal of experience in operating successful businesses in New York, North Carolina, and Florida. I have significant budgetary and financial expertise and have managed an operating budget for over 30 years. I know that my business experience, coupled with my fire department background, makes me well suited for a commissioner position.
I seek your support for my efforts to become a Fire Commissioner and ask you to vote this coming Tuesday, December 14, 2021. The public vote will be at Dix Hills Fire Department headquarters:

Polling Place Hours: 4 p.m. - 9 p.m.
