I haven’t posted in so long even though I had a great year last year, but I had gotten so behind with social media! My goal this year is to post more work starting today and I’ll go backwards to cover some of last year until I’m caught up!

After a long 6 months of fighting lymphoma, I have completed chemotherapy and am in remission! I’m so happy to announce that I am back to work and available as of this week. I’m really excited for this second year in business, and I have some exciting announcements coming soon!

Hi, it’s Jessica from Sort and Style Dothan. I’m so sorry I haven’t been available and I haven’t been able to work since January due to a completely unexpected diagnosis of bone lymphoma that is fast growing and aggressive. I have completed one round of intensive chemotherapy that required a 6 day stay in the hospital at UAB. I was told that I need 5 more treatments every 3 weeks, so I am expected to finish at the end of May. I’ve been feeling SO much better since I started chemo and am regaining my strength and living with less pain than when I was diagnosed.

I started my business a year ago now and it has been such a blessing and everything I dreamed it would be. I am optimistic that I will be able to take on clients again sooner than the end of May, so please be on the lookout for updates about booking availability in the future!
