Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of our staff and patients at Southeast Health Circle East Rehab, the team collected an impressive 142 pounds of food to support local families.
All of these critical donations were delivered to the Southeast Alabama Baptist Association, where they will directly assist local families facing food insecurity during the holiday season. This initiative is a powerful example of how our entire organization steps up to support our neighbors in need.

This past Friday evening, November 21st, a group from our Epic team had a great time volunteering in the resident kitchen at the Dothan Rescue Mission. Kayla Nix, Katie Miller, and James Echols joined other dedicated volunteers to serve our Wiregrass community.

Following that, another group from our Epic team also generously donated their time on Tuesday evening to assist in the kitchen at the Rescue Mission. We are incredibly proud of our teams for consistently participating and giving back to the community we serve.

This incredible technology helps Dr. Sexton and Dr. Doty navigate the lung’s smallest airways to biopsy nodules earlier and more accurately than ever before. This speeds up diagnosis and gets patients into life-saving treatment faster.

Southeast Health announces new technology to diagnose lung cancer

Southeast Health and Pulmonary Associates are fighting back against lung cancer, bringing the revolutionary Ion Robotic Bronchoscopy to the Wiregrass region!
This minimally invasive system allows physicians, including Dr. Marvin Sexton and Dr. Walter Doty, to biopsy small, hard-to-reach nodules in the peripheral lung, where 70% of cancers are found.
As VP Eric Hartigan says, this technology is a game-changer, dramatically shortening the journey from biopsy to diagnosis and treatment.

We were incredibly proud to support Leadership Dothan Class 44's fantastic Peanut Butter Drive for the Wiregrass Area Food Bank! 🥜

It was inspiring to see our team step up, generously contributing to this vital cause and helping to make our facility a busy drop-off point for the community. Contributing to the needs of the Wiregrass is always a priority for us.

A special thank you to Leadership Dothan Class 44 and the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce for spearheading this wonderful effort to spread kindness, one jar at a time!

We provided a detailed walkthrough of the phased changes coming with the Emergency Department & Bed Tower expansion, focusing on new patient drop-off routes and access procedures.
Our goal is simple: ensure our emergency partners have all the information they need to continue their vital, life-saving work without interruption during construction. Thank you for your commitment!💙
