The habit that can make the biggest difference in your health is often the simplest one.
Walking.
You can do it in the rain, the snow, or the sunshine. You do not need perfect weather or a perfect schedule. You only need to begin and keep going.
As I have gotten older, I have learned consistency matters more than intensity. Step counts can be helpful, but there is no need to obsess over numbers. What matters most is showing up for yourself each day and continuing to move forward.
A daily walk can support your heart health, lift your mood, increase your energy, and create a time for mindfulness.
It is when I listen to podcasts or books, return phone calls, process ideas, catch up with friends and think clearly without distraction.
When you protect this habit with supportive gear and realistic expectations, walking becomes something you look forward to every day.
Do you make walking a regular part of your routine?
