Mamas, I know how it feels.. I know how it goes:

We do not sleep, we are always on the go, & busy AF. We take care of a household, cook, clean, & so much more.. & now we want to be fit & stay healthy?

& many times staying fit & healthy goes on the back burner, and itโ€™s totally forgotten about, but mama Here are the reasons why you need to start strength training more:

1. ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐Œ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ฒ: you need energy to start & continue a workout, so how the heck are you going to feel more energized once youโ€™re done? I feel you mama, but the truth is that when you start strength training, sweating, & moving your body 9/10 times you will feel more energized to tackle your day with your kiddo!

2. ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ญ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐ง: the FEEL good hormone oxytocin rises up when you get your blood flowing, muscles pumping, & get your sweat on!! The more you do it, the more you will feel so dang good you did.

3. ๐…๐จ๐ซ ๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ž ๐œ๐จ๐ง๐Ÿ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐œ๐ž: Once you start seeing the muscles youโ€™re creating, you will start feeling more confident, more happy, more S E X Y in your body. Building muscle is just pure sexiness, & at the end of the day, you do not have to be fit already to just start, so start now!

As you started reading this post you probably thought I was going to say โ€œto lose weight & burn fatโ€ & yeah those are the side effects but the results you get from just strength training are SO much more than the weight drop on the scale, or the fat youโ€™ll be burning.

As Strong Mamas we want more energy, more confidence, more motivation, more consistency & f**k ya it feels good to lose weight, & get lean, & burn fat in the process.

๐“๐จ๐๐š๐ฒ, I wanted to share a few of my favorite tips on postpartum exercise & giving your body all of the love it needs in this new, incredible, soul shaking chapter as a mama! Just like you, I know that this journey is not easy. Our bodies goes through SO many changes in such a short amount of period- from understanding it, to knowing what exercises are safe, to making the time to exercises, to having the ENERGY to exercise.

When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Who do you see? Do you embrace your body & feel confident or do you quickly glance over & not look back?

When you see a picture you are tagged in, do you first see what you want to fix, or do you love what you see?

I am with you, I understand. I have been right where you are right now. I struggled most of my life to find my worth & feel enough in my body. I struggled most of my life to find peace with myself & with my body. These struggles kept me from enjoying nights out with friends, dinner dates, having ice cream at night, walking along side the beach, buying clothes...

What I know to be true is that finding that confidence, feeling at peace with your body as it is (post baby specially), & breaking free from diets is so possible for you. (& you can make it happen).

I have went from hating the woman I saw in the mirror to feeling confident & worthy AF in all stages of my life, ( in mamahood).

I am talking about going beyond a workout plan, a meal plan, and some simple recipes.

I am talking about mindset/confidence work (dig deep), heart pumping strength training workouts, & a balanced approach to nutrition.
