Anxiety isn’t just “worrying too much.”

It can look like constant nervousness, living in fight-flight-freeze, and struggling to focus.

If this feels familiar, you’re not broken; your nervous system may just be overwhelmed. Your body is not made to be in this state for long. Therapy and counseling tools can help you regulate your anxiety.

Rachel brings a heart for healing and a passion for supporting mental wellness every day. She’s almost finished with her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and already helps clients navigate things like anxiety, self-esteem concerns, relationships, trauma, ADHD, and more.

Fun fact: When she’s not helping others, she loves reading, staying active, playing video games, and spending time with her husband and family.

Here’s to compassionate care and growth. Thanks for all you bring, Rachel!

Valentine’s Day is often about romantic love, but the most impactful relationship you’ll ever have is with yourself.

If you struggle to love yourself or what you see in the mirror, remember: our worth isn’t defined by images.

It’s defined by your values, actions, growth, and self-compassion. Be gentle with yourself and prioritize that relationship a little more this year.

Temporary bouts of sadness can be normal in teenagers as they adjust to hormone changes, navigate social connections, and cope with everyday stressors.

However, when these mood changes occur for an extended period of time, it may impact an individual’s ability to function in daily life.

Some additional warning signs of depression include suicidal ideation, self-injurious behavior (i.e., cutting), significant weight loss/gain, and feelings of sadness, anger, and hopelessness.
