Boast post! The Lord had given me dreams in December letting me know tough challenges were coming, but no matter how bad it looked, we would not be harmed, I had shared this with some of my close sisters in the Lord. Thursday my husband went to urgent care complaining of shoulder pain, the doctor said he felt there could be something else going on, an EKG revealed some irregularities which landed him in the ER, which led to an overnight stay to take a trip to the cath lab. My husband had just had a stress test the week before that showed everything normal! The heart doctor came in ahead of the cath lab saying he thought there was a chance my husband could be in the 20% that the stress test fails to reveal the problem. As I waited fellowshipping with dear friends from church who came to support us, I thought, this is taking longer than what it would take to find nothing, they in fact found a 90% blockage in his right coronary artery, my husband has abnormally large arteries, so they were unable to complete the necessary repairs and he will go back in in about a week for the completion of the repair to his artery. But I am totally blown away by the grace of God, who let me know ahead of time, no matter how things may look, or feel, we have nothing to fear, but rest in trust in Him! What a precious gift! I praise God! I LOVE when he gives me answers I am not even smart enough to ask for! He goes before us! Nothing surprises him! So yes, I will boast on the Lord! I will magnify his name! Glory to God!
