Even personal trainers struggle. I chose to spend the past year doing a mile-a-day challenge. Of course, I’m true Katie fashion I upped it to a few miles a day. What that meant was that strength training took a back seat. When I stopped running so much, the weight crept up and my muscle tone has diminished greatly.

This isn’t a knock on running. I learned so much about myself, sacrificing time and plans to keep my word. But I’m fighting an uphill battle (at 40) to get back to where I was.

Changing body composition and toning up is a marathon, not a sprint…but I’m putting it out there and asking for, albeit passive, accountability. So, insta friends…let’s DO THIS!
