My journey to healthy

My journey to healthy I am just an average girl trying to improve my health. I have had a roller coaster journey and am ready to finally hit and maintain my goals. I was wrong.

I started this journey at 220.4 pounds 7-1-11. I am not sure where I am in my fitness journey.. I started trying to get healthier 3 years ago.. I was successful and lost 75 pounds in 15 months. I worked out 4-6 days a week and did some weight training. I hit my lowest weight and then thought I could stop letting it control my life and could ease up and not micromanage it. I gained 27 pounds over the next 6 months but I was still working out. I even finished the half marathon last year. Then I having some health problems and stopped working out. I know now that I had developed anxiety and since raising my heart rate made me feel like I was having an anxiety attack I stopped working out. I gained a total of 60 pounds back.. I have dealt with the anxiety and I want to get to back to where and who I was before. I am glad this page was started as more motivation for me. I don't follow a special eating plan. I am trying to eat leas carbs and sodium. More protein, veggies and fruit. I look forward getting healthier and learning new things. I personally do not endorse any weight loss products or diets. To me it is not a diet It is a whole life change and you need to be ready to make that lifelong commitment. The work is not done just because the weight loss is.
