First planter stand which was a pain in the ass when it came to getting reacquainted with my dovetail jig which I could have done without and used dowels. But I like a challenge and the planter is coming along nicely. Next step is the stain and then its off to my friends house.

Punk ass dust collection bag thought it had me beat. Putting this thing on is the only time consuming part of this machine. Well, I quickly figured out that some magnets 🧲 were a good way of keeping the bag in place before strapping the bag down.

An all day project adding the tablesaw to the end of the workbench. Mistakes were made and lessons were learned. Overall, I'm pleased so far. Still need to finish it off, but the biggest hurdle of making it possible to get the table saw flush with the tabletop was achieved. Using a forsner bit to sink the adjustable screws/legs was the answer.

Workbench tabletop is glued up, hand planed, sanded, and sealed.

Trimming off the sides of the workbench panels to remove any cups and bows. After one side is straightened that side can be used as a reference to cut the other side parallel. Using a track saw made this easy. Definitely need a track extension to avoid moving the track and trying to realign the saw with the next mark.

Learned the hard way today about safety and using the bandsaw. Stabilizing a small round log is a must to avoid being pulled down and possibly twisting the blade and bring your hand into the blade. Close call, but now I know.
